The Best Self Tanner

I always get questions about my “spray tans” and where I get them done. I actually don’t get spray tans!! I use a tanning mousse from Sally’s called Tanwise. I’ve tried multiple different self tanners and none of them did the trick for me! They were either splotchy, not dark enough, too thick, and/or too thin. This is why Tanwise is my favorite self tanner I’ve tried so far. When I started using it, I applied the mousse on my body and the Tanwise Self-Tanning Face Gel on my face. However I didn’t like the gel so now I use the Tanwise on my face as well. Tanwise comes in a mousse, lotion, or spray. The reason I use mousse is because once you apply it you let it sit for 6+ hours and then wash it off. So I apply it at night, sleep in it, shower in the morning, and I’m ready to go! I love this brand because it is a green based self tanner which is why the color turns brown on the skin. Other self tanners use orange bases which is why it looks orange on the skin. I use the Dark Bronzing Sunless Tan Mousse. I have very light skin and have found that even though I use the dark tanner, It looks best on my skin. So even if you have very light porcelain skin, I would purchase either the medium or dark. I didn’t like the lotion as much because it got all over my clothes, and I didn’t know the proper amount of time to wait to wash my body. I have never liked using self tanner spray because it looks splotchy on my skin, so once I found the self tanner mousse I was hooked! You can purchase Tanwise Mousse at your local Sally’s Beauty Shop and you won’t regret it! I’ve been using it for years!
